About
The project asks how situated interdisciplinary collaborations across art and engineering can contribute towards the development of novel ways of using wool, and how this can form the basis for artistic research and outcomes. The work exists at the intersection between art, design and applied sciences and details how wool aerogel is synthesised through sublimation. Moving [in]between disciplines, the project frames a material process where engineered material processes might unfold subliminal spaces, active voids and [infra]disciplinary spaces and complexities.
